Secure Server Mobile Email Settings

We know you can’t wait to configure email on your Android®. We will activate the email on your device in about 5 minutes use Secure Server Mobile Email setting.

Use this step to configure the default e-mail application with your Workspace e-mail account. You can also use the Outlook application to get e-mail. Here’s how to configure the Outlook application on your Android device.

If you follow the steps below, and cannot receive or send emails, read Android: Troubleshooting Email Problems for help. You may need to make some additional changes, depending on where you live and the ISP you are using

BEFORE YOU START: To configure Secure Server Mobile Email setting on your Android, you need to know the settings and ports of the POP or IMAP Email Server. To search for it, open the Email Configuration Center and write down the information displayed in Email Server Settings.

To Configure Secure Server Mobile Email on Your Android-based Device

  1. Open your device’s email application.
  2. If you have configured an e-mail account, press Menu and tap Account. Press Menu again and tap Add account.
  3. Type your e-mail address and password, then click Next.
  4. If you have IMAP, tap IMAP. If unsure, tap POP3.
  5. Use this setting for the incoming server, depending on the type of email account you have:

  • User Name Enter your full email address.

6. Use this setting for your Secure Server Mobile Email – outgoing server:
As a troubleshooting step, you must activate the SMTP relay for your account. For more information, read Managing Your Email Account SMTP Relay.

SMTP (Outgoing Email Server)

  • The SMTP server
  • Port 80
  • Security type None

7. Select Require sign in and make sure your Username (full email address) and Password are correct. Tap Next.

8. Tap Next again. Give your account name and enter the name that you want to appear in your outgoing message.

9. Tap Done.
That is all. If everything works, you will see several e-mail messages. To make sure you can send messages, continue and write an email, then send it to your own address.

Advantages and disadvantages of Computer Network

Some Android devices and email clients do not require users to enter an account. So, if the settings above do not apply to you, go back to step 7 and uncheck the Need to enter, then continue configuration for Secure Server Mobile Email setting.
