Disney Parks App Bug Prevents Screenshots of PhotoPass Images

The Walt Disney World and Disneyland apps now display a blank screen when users attempt to screenshot a Disney PhotoPass photo.

Blank PhotoPass Screenshot

Users who try to screenshot the Disney PhotoPass section of the My Disney Experience or Disneyland apps will instead get a blank image, as seen above. This happens whether you have paid for a PhotoPass package or not.

Guests can still browse and purchase their photos, they just can’t take screenshots. Guests who have not paid for PhotoPass will still see their photos with a watermark over them. Those who have paid and want to save their photos should use the actual download button instead of screenshotting.

Photos do still show up when attempting to screenshot a PhotoPass page on the Walt Disney World and Disneyland desktop websites.

Have you tried out this latest update in your My Disney Experience or Disneyland Resort apps? Did you used to take screenshots of your PhotoPass pictures instead of buying them? We’d love to hear what you think about it on social media.
