In May 2023, among multiple new digital displays put up across the roads of Walt Disney World, this was one.

In August 2024, the sign sustained damage. Although the exact details remain unclear, it seems likely that a crane or possibly a very tall truck struck it.

The damaged sections of the sign were swiftly eliminated by the workers. By November 2024, the whole sign had been dismantled. The crews reconstructed the screen on-site.

It has since been installed in two parts. A single large rectangular screen along with a secondary smaller square screen is what comprises this setup. These screens weren’t operational as of Friday morning; however, they typically show directional guidance. Additionally, the older signs attached to the bridge right after the digital displays have been taken down.

World Drive runs from I-4 to Magic Kingdom. The sign is on the southbound side, leading away from Magic Kingdom towards EPCOT.
