Understanding the 1v1 With Every Gun Map in Fortnite
Fortnite has an impressive collection of Epic-created game modes that go beyond its popular Battle Royale. For players looking for a continuous stream of new content, the Creative mode offers thousands of unique, community-made games and maps. Among these, “1v1 With Every Gun” by Hive stands out as one of the most popular. This map regularly receives updates that introduce new secret weapons, keeping the gameplay fresh and exciting.
While many of these secrets are relatively easy to unlock, the Freeze Sniper Rifle requires more effort. Players need to complete a series of challenges to obtain this weapon. Here’s a detailed guide on how to get the Freeze Sniper Rifle in the “1v1 With Every Gun” map.
Finding the Six Ice Cubes
To permanently unlock the Freeze Sniper Rifle, players must find and interact with six different ice cubes scattered throughout the map. Each ice cube reveals a digit of a six-digit code, which must be entered into the secret code terminal. It’s important to note that the code is unique to each server, so players will need to locate the ice cubes themselves.
Ice Cube Location #1
The first ice cube is located in the top-left corner of the wall bordering the main 1v1 arena. Players can easily find and interact with it to receive the first digit of the code. Make sure to take note of this number.
Ice Cube Location #2
To access the second ice cube, players need to navigate a space parkour course. Start by grabbing a Hop Flopper, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler from their respective vending machines. Head to the bottom-right corner of the map, use the Hop Flopper, and fire a rocket into the air. Then switch to the Grappler and grapple the rocket. From there, complete half of the space parkour course by hopping across obstacles without falling. The course is challenging, but players can skip sections using sprint jumps due to the low gravity in the area. Once at the ice cube, interact with it to reveal the second digit of the code.
Ice Cube Location #3
The third ice cube is found in the statue minigame associated with the Rainbow Shotgun. To enter, head to the Combat Shotgun’s vending machine, claim it, and then use the weapon to shoot its own vending machine. This action will teleport players to the statue room, where the ice cube is located behind the first statue on the left. Interact with it to get the third digit of the code.
Ice Cube Location #4
To find the fourth ice cube, grab Brutus’ Minigun from its dedicated vending machine and head to the bottom-left corner of the map. Look for a secret button that can be interacted with while the Minigun is in the inventory. Complete the Glass Bridge minigame, making sure to follow the correct path to avoid falling through false platforms. The correct route may vary per server, requiring some trial and error. The ice cube is located at the end of the bridge, next to the Infinite Minigun.
Ice Cube Location #5
The fifth ice cube is found after unlocking The Golden Gun. Grab Midas’ Drum Gun and shoot the Marksman Six Shooter vending machine to enter the area. Once inside, head to the right and ignore the parkour course. Go toward the statue in the starting area, where the ice cube is located behind it.
Ice Cube Location #6
The final ice cube is located in a secret maze, similar to the one where the Mammoth Pistol is found. The entrance to the maze can be found one level down from the wall on the far west side of the arena. Navigating the maze can be tricky, so players should refer to the video provided for guidance on reaching the ice cube.
Unlocking the Freeze Sniper Rifle
Once all six ice cubes have been found and the digits of the code have been noted, players can enter the six-digit code into the secret code terminal. In our case, the code was 952451, but remember that the code will be different for each server. Upon entering the correct code, the Freeze Sniper Rifle will be permanently unlocked for the player.
