I frequently change my devices every couple of weeks, so typically I do not find it necessary to get a case. However, for theiPhone 16 Pro Max andPixel 9 Pro XL that I use throughout the year, I generally opt for either a clear or leather case.
When the accessory brand Torras reached out to see if I wanted to check out their Ostand OAir and OFitness series, I was intrigued. Although I have previously utilized cases from brands like Spigen, ESR, and Mujjo, what caught my attention with the Torras cases were two features: an incorporated kickstand at the rear and striking color options.
The brand provided samples from both the Fitness line in two hues: Mint Green and Coastal Blue, as well as three shades within the OAir range. After using these cases for about a month, I must say they’re quite impressive. Despite being thicker, I mostly opted for the OAir models due to their enhanced protective features and more appealing color options.
Torras excelled in choosing the colors, and the OAir cases particularly bring a lively touch to theiPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. This case features a textured design along the edges which enhances grip, and the buttons do not affect the tactile experience at all.
The metallic overlay on the Camera Control button slightly complicates its accessibility. However, this feature works well for me since I often activate the camera unintentionally; the shield effectively stops such occurrences. To modify the zoom with this button requires more pressure, yet I prefer utilizing the built-in viewfinder controls anyway.
The OAir case alone tips the scales at 42 grams, and with it fitted onto my iPhone 16 Pro Max, the total weight becomes 269 grams. While it certainly adds some heft and size, the benefit lies in providing robust protection. This case features elevated rims around the screen area which prevent direct impact damage during falls — I put this feature through extensive testing, and it performed remarkably well.
I appreciate how the case includes extra protective layers at both the top and bottom ends, which Torras refers to as “airbags.” After dropping it multiple times, this design effectively protected my device. Additionally, the casing features a ridge around the camera area that helps prevent scratches on the lenses even when placed face down.
The standard cutouts for the USB-C port and speakers are included at the bottom of this case. You will need to use a charging cable with a slim connector because thicker ones won’t fit when the case is attached. Most of my cables come with integrated power meters, but they couldn’t be connected to the phone while the case was on.
The most impressive aspect of this case is undoubtedly its integrated kickstand, which offers a complete 360-degree rotation. This allows for adjustable positioning according to personal preference, and once set, it securely holds the phone in place. When not needed, the stand tucks away inconspicuously without affecting functionality. Additionally, it does not obstruct MagSafe technology; instead, the case boasts powerful magnetic properties. Consequently, using various Qi 2 chargers posed no problems during my testing with an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The Fitness case shares the same kickstand design and features a comparable textured finish along the edges; however, it lacks corner protection. Weighing in at 36 grams, these cases are notably lighter than their counterparts. Although they aren’t as robust as the Air series, they perform adequately for everyday usage.

That ranks towards the upper end of the spectrum for such cases; however, the dependable protection along with excellent color options and the integrated kickstand make it a straightforward suggestion.
