The South Jacksonville Board of Trustees plans to hold their regular meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in Village Hall located at 301 Dewey Drive.
Included on the meeting agenda are:
- Induction Ceremony for Police Officer Marissa Mueller.
- Induction of newly elected village officials, such as the president, clerk, and trustee.
- Approved $5,000 tourism grant for the Abraham Lincoln Council Scouting America program.
- Approval of $25,000 tourism grant for Prairie Land Heritage Museum has been granted.
- Authorization of a $30,000 tourism grant for the Morgan County Fair has been approved.
- Approval for installing surveillance cameras at the water treatment facility, softening station, pump houses, and the town workshop for a total cost of $3,945.
- Appointment of Jeffery W. Coleman to occupy the vacant trustee seat on the board, with his term concluding on April 30, 2029.
- Arrangement for a special board session along with a Committee of the Whole gathering scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on May 15 at the Village Hall.
The board is anticipated to convene in a private meeting to discuss lawsuits and employee-related issues.
